Meal Plan F.A.Q.

Q: Can I take food out of the Dining Center?
A: No you may not. As in the past, all food is to be consumed in the Dining Hall. In keeping with past practices you may take either a piece of fruit or ice cream with you.

Q: Is my meal plan transferable?
A: No. You may not let anyone use your ID Card to gain entry in the Dining Hall.

Q: Why Can't I have unlimited access with my block meal plan?
A: Block meal plans simply do not work that way. The Dining Hall as the cornerstone of the Residential Dining Program Functions best with the U.S.A. plan.

Q: Can I change my meal plan?
A: Upper-class students will want to check the main page for the deadline to change their plan. Your account will be prorated depending upon either the amount of time that has elapsed or the amount of your meal plan that has been used.

Q: May I add Dining Dollars to my U.S.A. plan?
A: Yes you may. Simply visit the Dining Services office in the Dining Hall to deposit funds to your Dining Dollars account. There is a $25.00 minimum deposit.

Q: Why can't I use the Meal Exchange at Ike's or the Bullethole with my U.S.A. plan?
A: The U.S.A. plan works only in the Dining Hall. The allocation of Dining Dollars on the U.S.A. plan is for when you need to purchase meals that must be eaten outside the Dining Hall

Q: I live in a fraternity house, may I take advantage of the U.S.A. plan?
A: Each fraternity is different. IF you live in a house that signed up for the Fraternity Meal Plan, then everyone in the house would have to sign up for the same plan. If you live in a fraternity house that does not participate, then you may simply sign up for any plan in the Dining Services office.

Q: What is Servo?
A: A term that affectionately refers to the Dining Hall.

Q: What is the Dining Hall?
A: See Servo.
