• A Joyful Noise: Music at Gettysburg College
  Explore the rich history of music at Gettysburg College. The History of Events uses photographs from Musselman Library's Special Collections, along with headlines from the Gettysburgian, to trace the development of music study and performance on campus. Use the Listen In link to hear selected recordings of student ensembles, and then click Share Your Stories to write about your memories of music-making at Gettysburg, and read what others have shared.
  

• Happy 25th Birthday Musselman Library
  On April 22, 1981 the Gettysburg College Library moved from Schmucker to the new Musselman Library. The book move included approximately 1,350 people, including 230 members of faculty and administration. These volunteers loaded, transported, and shelved around 180,000 books and materials in less than 5 hours.

  In 1999, Gettysburg College celebrated the 200th Birthday Anniversary of the birth of its founder, Samuel Simon Schmucker.
